Accessable Easel, 2017
Created for my mother after knee surgery, the accessible desk easel is a furniture piece that serves multiple uses within a small rent-controlled apartment. Beginning as a credenza, the piece transforms into a watercolor easel via spring-assisted opening and telescoping legs — allowing for a sturdy work surface with ample leg clearance.
